AN INDULGING, TREAT-YOURSELF RECIPE FROM BAILEYS

Can you believe that lava is ~950°C yet the gays, theys and other queer lovelays are still the hottest thing on earth – wild, right!?

Anyway, we digress. This recipe, we’re coming in hot with yet another indulgent, treat-yourself recipe from the babes over at Baileys, as we this month create a ‘Baileys Volcano’, an explosively delicious take on the famed ‘lava cake’.

…And we can tell you right now, you’re gonna lava it!

Sorry…we literally couldn’t help ourselves, but while we’re at, here’s one last lame volcano joke, just for the heck of it!

Q: How do volcanoes reproduce?

A: By making lava.

…Okay fine, we’ll stop with the lame jokes and get on with the recipe!

INGREDIENTS (SERVES ONE)

• 50ml Baileys Original Irish Cream

• 2 Large chocolate brownies (around 200g and ideally square)

• 40ml Chocolate sauce

• Raspberries to garnish

THIS RECIPE CONTAINS ALCOHOL.

METHOD

First, it’s time to stack them brownies girl. You’ll want to mould them into the artistic shape that you want for your volcano.

As an FYI, you’re technically a choc-geologist (the 100% fictional science of natural rock formation inspired chocolate) by this point, so make us proud!

Pro tip: remember to make a hole in the top of your brownies for the delicious lava.

Next, let’s drizzle (my nizzle) the chocolate sauce all over, and then pour the Baileys into the hole. Now, it’s time to throw raspberries into the molten mix – pour those bad boys all over.

And finally, you’ve arrived at yum-town. You’re all done, and just in time to watch the Baileys eruption.

Kick your feet up, relax and enjoy, you gorgeous gorgeous choc-geologist, you!
